2. What Token System is

Token System is a tool for parents to track token balances (for example for screen time or sweets) for their children. Tokens are an agreement within your family and have no monetary value.

3. Who may use it

The app is intended for adults. Parents are responsible for how it is used with their children and for the correctness of the data they enter.

4. Accounts and sync

You can use the app locally without an account. Syncing needs an anonymous or Google-based account. Anonymous accounts cannot be recovered if the device or app data is lost. Keep invitation QR codes private; they are valid for 10 minutes and single use.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, try to access other families' data, overload the servers or reverse engineer the backend access rules.

6. Availability and changes

The app is provided free of charge. Sync depends on third-party hosting and may be unavailable at times. We may change or discontinue features; we will give reasonable notice for the sync service where possible.

7. Termination and deletion

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account and data in Settings → "Delete account and data". We may delete accounts that are inactive (see the privacy policy) or used abusively.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and as required by mandatory law. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential contractual duties and limited to typical foreseeable damage. Otherwise liability is excluded as far as legally permitted.

9. Governing law

German law applies, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections of their country of residence.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the new version. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
