Sunday

Agree once, together.

You decide what a token stands for and how many there are per week. A duration per token is optional and freely adjustable. Your child helps choose, the app refills every week.

Tuesday

Helping out becomes visible.

Tidied up, helped cook, kept to study time: that earns tokens, with a reason. They fill the way to the wish until the goal is reached.

Wednesday

Redeem with one tap.

When the child wants to use their time, a parent or caregiver redeems: one tap in the widget, without opening the app. The balance is right away, and the coin turns grey on the kid tablet. If a duration is set, a countdown on that phone reminds you when time is up. Nothing gets locked.

Always

Everyone sees the same balance.

The child sees their coins on their own tablet. The second parent connects by QR code, with or without a Google account.

FAQ

Good to know.

Do I need an account?

No. Local mode works without an account and without internet. Optional sync lets a second parent share the balances, also without a Google account.

Does the app lock the phone or tablet?

No. Token System records your agreements and reminds you when time is up. It does not block other apps or devices.

Does a token have to mean time?

No. A duration is optional and freely adjustable, from 1 minute to 24 hours. Without one you simply count tokens; with one, redeeming starts a countdown on the phone that redeems.

Is this a therapy app?

No. Token systems are used in educational settings, among others. The app only manages your agreements and provides no diagnostics or treatment planning.

What happens to the children’s names?

Locally they stay on the device. With sync they are stored in the EU and transmitted encrypted. Nicknames work just as well.

Is there an iPhone version?

Android only for now.
